FOGEL FIELD
Since Whittington Park and Majestic Park were in such high demand, Hot Springs decided to build another field. Fogel Field, also known as Fordyce Field and Holder Field, was built in 1912 as a training site for Major League Baseball teams. Fogel Field hosted the Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, Kansas City Monarchs, Homestead Grays, and the Pittsburgh Crawfords along with numerous minor league teams.
